Vacation & Paid Time Off

if we wanted time off we had to submit a request at least a week before we wanted off

18 days to start with

All time off was out of one pool.

After my first calendar year of working for the company I had as many or more PTO days than my husband who had been working for his company for almost 10 years. Needless to say PTO was great.

Love getting 5 weeks per year , but it is hard to get the time approved

If you've been with the company 10+ years, the accrual rate of vacation (PLB) is excellent. For someone just starting out, you will receive the bare minimum.

They considered their vacation/holiday under a plan named PLB (personal leave bank). You acquired time off based on your years of service with the company. They did not allow us to donate to cancer victim related employees which I feel they should have allowed us to do.

Better than some companies, but time off can be difficult to get approved in certain departments.

Decent amount of time off hours accrued every 2 weeks.
