I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ActiveCampaign (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2018
Interview
I was referred in by someone I knew from external activities. I did a phone screen with a recruiter who identified that I would be better suited in a role that they also had open. I then came onsite for one round of interviews and met with the team and manager I would be working with. I really appreciated that they helped me identify what my strengths were and aligned them with my interest to ensure I was in a role that would be engaging and fit my skills and experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time that you had to prioritize multiple projects and how you chose what to work on.
Even with a couple personal referrals (some who worked at AC and some who worked with them), they went completely unresponsive without even a basic HR screening. I was really excited about the role, company and team, but was ultimately disappointed with the lack of response - especially with strong references.
