Interview
There are three majors steps to the interview process
1) First call is with a Recruiter where they ask you the basics. (Why Airtable, your performance, why do you want to leave your current role, etc.)
2) Call with the hiring manager where they ask similar questions to what the recruiter ask but in more detail.
3) Virtual Onsite which consists of 4 30 minute interviews (via Zoom) with the hiring manager, Customer Success manager, another hiring manager, and a sales rep on the team. Its all a mixture of behavioral questions and situation questions, Also yo will have a discovery call/demo exercise with the hiring manager that is 45 minutes long. They give you all the materials to prepare and be successful. The recruiters have a quick call with you at the beginning of the virtual onsite and after the virtual onsite to ensure everything runs as smooth as possible.
In the end of each interview I got great feedback and told I would do great in the role but ultimately was not given a offer. When I tried to reach out for constructive criticism I was giving none. I accept the fact I didn't get a offer but the fact I wasn't given next steps to improve myself to increase my odds of success next time was very disappointing.
Hard interview, but good HM who was smart. Recruiter understood the London sales environment very well and was a particularly good conversation with him. Didn’t get past the manager but was offered good feedback.
Recruiter helped me through the whole process - I felt supported. Unfortunately, I didn't make it past the final stage of interview, but my feedback was clear super helpful for future interviews.
