5 virtual Interview rounds plus a technical and presentation. The questions weren’t really hard (the recruiter made an extra effort to prep me with questions prior to the interviews), but the process was just unnecessarily long, grueling, and pointless. It was clear to me the team was very new and no one knew what they wanted. The recruiter also described the role to me during the screen call, but when speaking with the team, the role had an entirely different area of focus. One person expressed their deep regrets of joining the company and another did not know what auditing was. There was an air of disarray and an apparent lack of confidence in the skill set they required—signs of a sinking ship and an ill-fit team.
