I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boots (Birmingham, England) in Jan 2016
Interview
Invited to store, asked questions and given tasks. Shown staff areas. Why are you a good fit for boots, which values are important, talked about personal background. Was rejected but at least the process was fairly swift and I wasn’t particularly feeling I would enjoy the work after completing the interview so not crushed I didn’t get it.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Boots in Nov 2017
Interview
Had worked for the company previously and interview process hadn’t changed in 7 years. Asked to specify when I could work and then got to interview and had scored highly but then told me that the hours weren’t available. Complete waste of time and money.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Boots (Cambridge, England) in Dec 2018
Interview
I used this app to help me prepare for my interview so I thought I would keep the ball rolling.
I was asked questions which were highlighted by the company after I had taken the online test. They were mainly about teamwork, how you would interact with customers and what transferable skills you have.
We then went on to the shop floor where I had to sell the manager a product. Always come back to the product when doing this. We then walked down an aisle and talked about what I would change. As long as you focus on the customer and have the company in mind you should be okay.
