I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epiq
Interview
I was encouraged to apply for a role that didn’t sound like a right fit but the internal recruiter had explained it was exactly what I’m already doing and not to be thrown off by the title.
After the initial call with the recruiter I felt excited to continue the process, I had sat my second interview which was comfortable and a good opportunity to learn more about Epiq. I had a good feeling and was told I’d hear back on the same day about feedback and next steps. I didn’t hear back for a week and had to chase three times for feedback... when they finally responded they said that the vacancy is on hold while they ascertain budgets etc. I read another review here where this company is interviewing for roles that have not been approved!! I rescheduled a lot of work to spend hours preparing only to find there is no sign off. Please don’t interview candidates unless the role is available and signed off! Very poor experience. Get better recruiters and close the loop!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epiq (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2025
Interview
3 video interviews, 1 hour each, on different days.
First was the team manager, friendly and personal chat.
Second was VP, lots of very technical questions, very hard.
Third was with a team member, light chat.
I emailed the recruitment manager a week after the 3 interviews and was told the VP was on vacation and never heard back again. terrible way to treat an interviewee.
I was contacted by the recruiter via text and offered an interview the next day. In multiple interviews, I met with HR, the hiring manager, peers of the hiring manager and would be peers of mine. After 3+ weeks I was ghosted. I politely asked for an update and was ignored.
I applied online. I interviewed at Epiq (London, England)
Interview
Initial conversation with a HR representative, speaking in brief about myself and what I know about the company, followed by a further interview with the team manager, describing in detail some of my experiences and goals.
