Online phone interview with the VP of Product, then on-site interview with VP of Product. He (Rob Feinstein) seemed very interested in my experience and we found a lot of similar problems I had worked on before that were being implemented at FloQast. I was scheduled to talk to someone from HR but Rob couldn't find her and said he'd follow up with me. I asked for a quick follow up the next day to meet with the HR rep, since I had strong interest from another company. However, they came back and said they wouldn't be moving forward. This was very confusing and left me wondering why they invited me on-site when they could've made this decision after the phone interview. In the end it seemed Rob just wanted to interact with me and amuse himself as well as do some market research without being too serious about hiring.
