I recently went through the interview process with FloQast, and the interactions with the team were positive. The process began with a 30-minute recruiter call, which was fairly standard. We discussed my qualifications, what I could bring to the role, and salary requirements. The subsequent rounds included a technical demonstration with an Excel spreadsheet, a culture fit assessment with the hiring manager, and a 45-minute interview with three accounting technology consultants. The fifth round involved a presentation and interview with the department director, and the final round included a discussion with the SVP of Client Relations. All the interviews were well-conducted, with engaging questions and a positive atmosphere. The team members were open, honest, and created a great rapport. I felt confident about my performance throughout the process. After waiting a week post the final round, I received a boilerplate automated rejection email from their Talent system. This was surprising and disappointing, especially considering the effort invested in the multiple interview rounds. When I sought feedback, I was informed that it's against company policy to provide feedback to candidates. While the interview experience itself was positive, the lack of personalized feedback after investing significant time and effort in the process was disheartening. A more transparent communication approach, especially in providing feedback, would have been appreciated.
