I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Flowserve (Chesapeake, VA) in Jan 2009
Interview
Typical interview. You talk to a bunch of people and then are evaluated on a group presentation as well. You stay in the best hotel, I mean they treat you really nice. However dont be fooled by the way they treat you at the interview. Its a lure tactic. The HR lady wont even say hello to you after to accept the job. She is your best freind until you accept though.
- screening (about 15mins with the recruiter)
- interview with Manager (this was virtual)
- interview with team (supposed to have been in person, accommodated to make virtual)
Overall pleasant experience. Considerate about responding in timely manner
1-resume screening
2-online technical interview (senior managerial round)
3-online tech round 2 ( with dept director)
4- Face to face tech and hr
The interview is moderate since i m frm mech bg the questions are from mech core subjects, and as fresher they asked abt my internship and clg projects

Question 1
More technical questions, denisty of air, cavitation etc
Recruiter reached out to me to schedule a 15 minute phone screening. We agreed on a time, but the recruiter did not call. I emailed saying that I was available whenever, and he said that he would call me right then. I never heard back from the recruiter after that point.
UPDATE: I ended up hearing back from the recruiter a couple days later. They apologized for the miscommunication and said they called the wrong phone number (even though I included it in both the application and the corresponding emails with them). I then interviewed with the team lead, who said that I'll hear back from them by the end of the following week. It is well past that time frame and I haven't heard a word from either the recruiter or the team lead.
