Came in for an interview, after meeting with 2 sales leaders I could tell that this wasn't a place for me. Their vibe was very off putting and made me feel as though what I was saying wasn't important enough for them. After nearly an hour they brought in their boss to vet me further, which was not scheduled when I had planned to come in. He was great in the interview process and asked some very strong and pointed questions. Then he pivoted to asking a few brain teaser questions that caught me off guard. Definitely was not at my best but seems like they have a very specific person they are looking for to fill those roles. They moved on but after the interview I also moved on.

Well, I recently attended an interview at Formlabs. The two people who interviewed me for an inside sales job were really not very interested and the vibes just did not feel right. They showed me around the company but it did not feel like they were happy to do that and I wasn't sure if I was investing my time at the right place. After an hour long interview they told me that they'd see if their boss is free to interview otherwise I'll have to come back in two days. They came back in a few minutes and told me that I'd be contacted for the next round. A week or so after that, I got an email telling me that they are not moving forward with my application! Definitely, I wasn't my best on that day and I can come up with a billion excuses but a growing company like Formlabs should never set the wrong expectations! It makes me feel good in a way that I wasn't chosen and I consider as a blessing in disguise because the last thing I want to do is to work for a company who lies and beats around the bush!
