M&T Bank Management Development Program interview questions

First interview on campus, then invited to interview on site in Buffalo for a final round First round consisted of basic questions about M&T and your resume. All behavioral questions pretty much. Second round was the final round. Interviewed with 5+ people, mostly within the division you specify of interest. Multiple one on one interviews throughout the day.

First round interview included a VP coming to my school and had a very relax informal interview. More of the tell me about yourself, and then let me tell you about the company and my roles. Then I was asked a lot of behavioral questions and then why I chose my current school and why I decided on M&T. I heard nothing from them for a few weeks but then the HR dept. called I was scheduled a second interview where i had an all expense trip paid for to Buffalo for an all day interview. I interviewed with 8 people, four from each department that I was considering. THey were all very nice and it wasn't intimidating at all. They really want to see how you fit into their culture and that you are excited about M&T. Make sure that you know the company's background and why YOU want to work for them. A few days later, I was given a offer and I will most likely accept the offer as they are all really nice and there is huge potential to grow with this company. The management and all the interviewers actually contacted me after I received the offer to say congrats and hope that I will accept the offer and was very open to questions.
