I felt that the interview process was inefficient. During the first round, the HR screening was conducted in English with questions about my background and working style.
In the subsequent round with the hiring manager, it was preferred to use Mandarin over English.
Unfortunately, I sensed a lack of respect and professionalism from the manager. The overall experience was negative due to the hiring manager's low energy, lack of greeting, and absence of questions about me.
Additionally, the manager did not even turn on the camera during the interview, which felt impersonal. I was simply asked to present my work without any inquiries about myself or my presentation. Overall, I found the preparation and interview process to be a waste of time.

Introduce yourself
What is the most difficult situation you have had to face and how did you tackle it?
Could you describe a time you dealt with conflict/disagreement?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at OKG
Interview
Very strange and robotic interview process, expects you to speak mandarin once the interview starts,
Wasn't even interested in listening to your case studies right at the start.
Wasn't interested in being design driven.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OKG (Singapore)
Interview
Prepare better for design candidates - i was not given a design exercise after the first round but upon the panel interview, was requested to present an exercise that I was not given.
The recruiter failed to confirm a date for the panel interview nor did he send an invite for one and subsequently was told that I have missed an interview that I have no idea I was supposed to go for.
While I admire the company's ambition to 'globalise' and accept non-Mandarin speaking candidates, my interviewer's lack of understanding of English prevented me from understanding their questions, regardless of several attempts to clarify the questions with them, with one of my interviewers in the panel interview having completely zero knowledge of English, which begs me to question how effective was the interview for them and how they were able to process my responses and come up with the decision whether to go forward or not with a candidate.
Overall, one of the worst experiences i've had interviewing with a company.
