QA Wolf QA Engineer interview questions

QA Wolf reached out to me through email suggesting that I take an at home test to show my engineering skills. The rules of the test were to program a solution to the problem stated and record a Loom video addressing my reasons for working with them and how my solution works. Although the code I wrote was robust and went beyond the minimum requirements, my application was discarded the next day. They state that they will view the Loom video, but the statistics Look provides show this did not take place, as other reviewers support with their own experiences. It feels disingenuous to state what they are looking for and how they will review the work, just to not honor any of it and clearly expect much more from those participating. Here is a tip for QA Wolf, a good Software Engineer knows when a simple solution is better! There is zero reason to over engineer a solution, all it shows is a lack of resource and time management. Within the context of a team environment overly complex code also slows everyone else down. I'm disappointed that my voice wasn't heard by any of them.

Second time applying to QA Wolf. First time I got to the last round. This time, they haven’t even watched my loom. Probably not worth the time for most people.
