QA Wolf QA Engineer interview questions

Gives you a take home assignment before any interview process. The requirements are not well written and expects to work out of scope. They did not passed me because someone did "more". Spent hours writing edge cases, documented everything, enabled the script to run both in the test suite and as stand alone script. I would very much like to know what else I should have done to demonstrate this "above and beyond" they want and what someone else did that passed them. Horrible interview process. A waste of time. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Take home assignment before any form of interview, as well as a video of yourself describing why you would want to work there. Additional two steps after. I'd say if you're keen on learning something new like I was, go ahead and do the take home assignment. Expect nothing on whether it was done well enough as a canned rejection response is what I got. At the end of the day, they're looking for the best bang-for-buck candidates, so if you're not willing to do more than what they said to do and read their minds on going what defines as going above-and-beyond, you'll just get a canned response.
