Interview
After applying for various positions I finally received a screening call with an internal recruiter. The call seemed to go well as I checked all the boxes of what they had in the job description. The recruiter ended the call advising that they would follow up with me within 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed and zero communication so I reached back out multiple times... No response! Hard to say if it was a scam job posting as I would expect a company like Swinerton to act professional and actually follow through.

General questions about my experience and why Swinerton.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Swinerton (Arvada, CO) in May 2025
Interview
Applied on-line and I was reached out to by a recruiter from the company for an initial phone screen. After the phone screen the recruiter proceeded with passing me to the hiring manager to get approval to do an in person interview. The recruiter worked with me to set up a day and time to come into their office for an interview. The interview was one 1-hour and done in a large group. The group ranged from company leaders, to mid-level manager and lower level managers. Around three of the interviewers who where supposed to be there did not come (one of which would have been my direct supervisor) and was not mentioned to me ahead of time or during the interview. They also did not appear to have specific questions prepared for me and the group just kept pushing on me to see if I had more questions. This came off as though they were not interested in interviewing me to start with. I have heard from others that this is structured like this to look at fit and personality, and they are not looking at capabilities. Either way the interview strategy used was poor form. After I finished the interview, the groups leader let me know they would get back with me and I immediately got an email from the recruiter thanking me for coming in and that they would get back to me. After a few weeks of trying to follow up with the recruiter and being ghosted, I randomly got an auto disposition email from ADP and nothing more. The disposition email said they found other candidates more suitable for the role but the role was reposted again that same week. Interviewing for that level position at a company should not be handled like that. I had even sent a nice email to the office director following the disposition email thanking him for the interview and asking if he would be willing to chat about feedback for my growth, and I have not heard back.
