I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Viasat (Carlsbad, CA)
Interview
took 2 months to get in there from my first phone call to interview. Extremely slow hire process..HR was not efficient in this process. The background check was quick, their was no drug test done which I thought was different. The wait time was whatever HR was doing internally.

Question 1
Asked me about my past positions, why I left them...etc. Asked me questions about the job function in detail. The manager did not know what the job function entailed anyways, I found that out after I started working there. It was a joke.
Very laid back phone interview, then video interview with a panel discussing background and why one would be qualified for the role, also describing some situational story lines and how one would approach a particular scenario.
Scheduled a call with the recruiter a few days in advance. Day/time of interview, and recruiter never shows up. Blames the system for not showing our appointment on her calendar. Asks when I can reschedule, so I give her timeframes, and then I never hear from her again. Followed up again and still no response. Huh? Seems like rock stars over there.
