Saw the opening through LinkedIn and applied without much expectations as this was one of the first companies I applied to. Got a response from Nicole within a couple of hours wanting to schedule a call. During that call itself she said that the hiring manager would be the next one to call and it turned out to be actually 2 more phone interviews before they scheduled an onsite.
Everything moved like clockwork and all those I met during the onsite seemed genuine and welcoming. One of the questions was, why I wanted to join Webdam. The reason I'm mentioning this is, this was asked multiple times, so seems like a big factor in their decision making process. Most of the other questions were along the lines of how can you help me, detailing some of the issues they were facing and asking what would I do.
Regardless of the end result, it was a great experience for me. But it also unfortunately spoiled me a bit, as I'm seeing that prompt responses and seamless coordination through the application and interview process that I saw at Webdam is more the expectation rather than the rule. Keep up the good work!
