Mission We believe that healthcare should work for everyone and that it’s too important to be so cumbersome and challenging. We’re building a better way to deliver a simplified, more meaningful healthcare experience for all.
Pager Health’s origins date back to 2014, when Oscar Salazar (former CTO of Uber) and others created an app to help patients navigate non-emergency healthcare experiences using a mobile device.
The company, then known as “Pager,” expanded its offerings in 2016 to include virtual nurse chat services between patients and nursing staff to help determine course of care. The modern era of Pager Health began in 2017 when Walter Jin, the company's executive board chairman, became CEO and began positioning the company’s technology assets in a business-to-business go-to-market strategy. Then, in October 2022, Pager strategically acquired Onlife Health, a leading well-being company. In June 2024, after fully integrating people, processes, technologies and more, healthcare history was made when the unified entity emerged as Pager Health, the industry's first connected health platform company.
For the first time ever, patients and members can now engage with their providers, care coordinators, point solutions, customer service reps, payors, and others during every stage of their health journey. This includes care navigation, delivery, follow-up, and wellbeing. Today, our 350 professionals across the United States, Puerto Rico, Latin America and other countries are Powering Connected Healthcare, breaking down silos, eliminating system friction and fragmentation, and leading the digital transformation of healthcare. And we’re just getting started.
