Pros

The company has a good benefits package and offers multiple discounts to employees, as well as competitive perks. There are great opportunities for career growth.

Cons

Opportunities for career growth aren't well-advertised - you have to search and apply. Markets are split into small districts, which means an opportunity for growth will more than likely require travel, or relocatoion. Also, for non-exempt hourly employees, some benefits are market-and-region specific, meaning vacation and sick time in one region may not apply in another.

Pros

This review is for Los Angeles office. Pros ? The job requirement is pretty basic. Therefore, it is pretty easy to get hired for any jobs in the office, especially if you are Chinese/Chinese American, White/Black or pretty young girls. Don't bother to apply to any jobs in the field if you are not speaking Spanish. Free Breakfast on Fri, birthday cakes, free parking, get paid in every two weeks.

Cons

This company doesn't want to keep their talents. It is super easy to become senior because people constantly quit after couple months working there due to the workload and the management. The paid is pretty low compared to the industry standard. Managers and executive are perverts. You will be the favorite in the office if you are one of those pretty YOUNG girls. Be prepared to stay until 10PM every nights during one week of month-end closing, then come back to work at 9AM. There has been many laid-off across the division. ABM decided to move all of finance and accounting functions to south and east coast. That means there will be more laid off soon.

Pros

Big changes going on that will be beneficial for the company once they are all in place. The managers were good people and the company seems to be a good place to work. I wasn't with them long enough to give a better response.

Cons

My only issue with ABM is that I always got push back from my boss when I asked for more things to do. I wasn't given the opportunity to work with my supervisor to grow into what she needed. I always felt like I was hired as a body to cover a potentially serious situation and eliminate a crisis. When they had enough people to do the job, I felt my position was eliminated (I suspect due to lack of need at the time) and didn't offer me another position within the company - even if would have been a step down.
