Pros

On top of regular vacation, we also have paid leave for the spring break week and for about 7-8 during the Christmas holidays. If you enjoy helping students and making a difference this is a place to be. The atmosphere is friendly and most persons I work are very interested in helping students.

Cons

The college needs to create better career ladder opportunities for its employees. They are working on it and its appreciated.

* Casual atmosphere (again, dependent upon department) * Flexible Hours * Friendly, welcoming, helpful co-workers

Cons

* There's a learning curve for navigating all of the paperwork and forms that you have to learn by trial and error. (Once you hit a brick wall, people are willing to help, though.)
