Friendly co-workers, felt like a family. Excellent Benefits, Time Off, and Professional Development. Most of the staff really cared about students succeeding. Excellent Work/Life Balance.

Cons

Low pay, higher administrators have goals, and try to make changes that are not reasonable. Goals should be attainable.

Librarians are paid great, benefits at 20 hours/week, generous PTO.

Cons

work is repetitive, little to no upward advancement, librarians never retire (they're making amazing salaries for what they do), and the dean plays favorites. Feels a lot like working for state government. Very bureaucratic and slow to change.
