Part time remote, Mon-Fri 9-5 job, holidays and PTO.

Cons

This company forces you to fake it till you make it. Their training is extensive and even then it does not cover all resolutions to common issues in payroll. They inform you about the learning curve being between a year to year and half but if you do not have any prior knowledge of how payroll, tax laws, W2 and other tax forms work it will be very difficult to get by. On top of that almost 70% of clients that call in have expressed their complaints regarding ADP’s services, as even as an associate, have had a hard time contacting other reps to find out what s going on with an existing case. Most of them are unreliable and you really can’t depend on anyone else but yourself. Unless you are passionate about payroll/finances I would not recommend this job.

Pros

coworkers were really nice, there was a lot of pressure so mostly everyone leaned on each other for support and words of encouragement.

Cons

You have to find your own leads, with open borders meaning inside sales, (someone random from the east coast) and your office have access to your portfolio and call and email at least 7-10 times a day ( Super annoying and frustrating). Opportunity is slim to none, you are supposed to have channels of influence ( other businesses that refer business to you in exchange for compensation) however there is built relationship so you are stuck knocking on a random CPA or broker to get them to give you leads ( which are usually trash) . Pricing on the packages are really expensive, they do sometimes provide discounts however at the expense of your paycheck. Commission is really small ( for most deals you can get an average of between 30 -300) This is definitely an entry level position, with very very little opportunity.

Cons

not time to enjoy life you will just be given way to much work! and never be able to take PTO plan to work 10+ hours a day
