Thank you for your input! We are currently working on establishing salary ranges and a merit structure within our organization, due to be released by the second quarter of this year. This will assist us in recognizing potential opportunities. The interim CEO and our new CFO continuously work hard for our employees and view the company culture as a priority.

Definitely NOT a destination workplace.

Pros

They are flexible with PTO. If you have a family, you will appreciate that.

Cons

Everything else. Literally everything else is bad. I have to agree with the other reviewers. Do not expect to be paid fair wages. Do not expect to get increases. Ever. Do not expect to be treated with respect. Do not expect your managers to be knowledgeable. Do not expect transparency on AFS's part with regard to the financial stability of the company. Do not plan on working here long term. I have never worked for a company with higher turnover. Even the HR dept has high turnover! There is most certainly an atmosphere of fear within AFS which makes the day to day environment generally unpleasant. In my opinion, the company engages in unethical business practices that directly affect AFS's ability to be successful.

Thank you for providing your feedback. "Destination Workplace" is a 5 year plan that we are still working to achieve. Under the new CFO's leadership, we are currently in the process of establishing salary ranges for all positions and a merit structure. The 2017 development plan includes career paths, analyzing skill sets within the company and management training. This plan is going to be the foundation in the final steps of becoming a "Destination Workplace".

Frustrating

Pros

Great supervisor and team. Some recent improvements to benefits, but still below average pay. Decent vacation. New corporate headquarters being built.

Cons

Top heavy management is more concerned with getting things done fast, rather than getting them done right, which is causing heavy client/employee turnover. Culture of fear/blame. Employees are treated as highly expendable. Outdated technology from years of cost saving is causing clients to leave.

Thank you for recognizing the improvements we have made. We will continue towards competitive compensation for our employees. The leadership team is committed to being simple and focused rather than rushing to meet deadlines. We are also committed to creating a culture where employees are valued and engaged. Thank you again for your advice.
