Pros

While many employees would say otherwise, the benefits provided by AFS are pretty solid compared to other companies in the area. As with any company, there are great people who work there, but that can be said pretty much anywhere.

Cons

It felt as if the company had no clear direction and was being run by individuals who had zero experience in the industry. Like other reviewers have stated, there was certainly a "politics of fear" type of atmosphere. There were unrealistic expectations on many employees, which is what led to many others resigning from the company. There was a gross discrepancy in pay based on whether you had an "in" with the owner or not. All around, it was simply not a pleasant working environment.

Pros

There were definitely great employees working hard to make AFS successful. There were friendships made that will last long after AFS is gone.

Cons

Upper management decisions were just plain awful, illogical, and backfired every time. There was an atmosphere of "the beatings will continue until morale improves".
