Pros

There were definitely great employees working hard to make AFS successful. There were friendships made that will last long after AFS is gone.

Cons

Upper management decisions were just plain awful, illogical, and backfired every time. There was an atmosphere of "the beatings will continue until morale improves".

Pros

Great supervisor and team. Some recent improvements to benefits, but still below average pay. Decent vacation. New corporate headquarters being built.

Cons

Top heavy management is more concerned with getting things done fast, rather than getting them done right, which is causing heavy client/employee turnover. Culture of fear/blame. Employees are treated as highly expendable. Outdated technology from years of cost saving is causing clients to leave.

This is a great company with great people and an amazing environment. This is not just a job but a career. Every day I learn something new; knowledge is power, if you are not learning and you are not training your replacement, success will evade you!
