I can’t speak for every department at AFS but I will speak to what I’ve experienced as an AM. I love this company. I’m not really sure what others consider negative morale/culture but this isn’t it. I am not saying that AFS hasn’t had ups and downs but they do have a vision. Sure, they want to grow their company but they also want to grow their employees. EVERY company has their ups & downs... it happens everywhere/everyday. I can tell you that I was terrified to work at AFS, mostly bc of the reviews that are posted on this site. I almost turned down a position with a fantastic team. Leslie & Eric are fantastic! I couldn’t ask for better people to work for. I am so thankful that they took the time & effort to squash my fears. Again, I have first hand experience of a negative work environment. That is not AFS. My advice to anyone reading reviews...there are always 2 sides to every story. If you want answers ask questions.

I have no cons. Do your job & strive to be the best... be a team player & you will be fine.

Pros

Good benefits. No issues with deposits. And some employee functions. CFO walks the floor regularly to visit with employees and talk to them. He's very friendly and the only EC team member that does it. That's a big plus for me.

Cons

AFS use to be a family type environment but once the new CEO came the entire environment changed. Everyone is on egg shells. Middle to lower management have no clue as to what really to do. They are preventative in actions. They only react after something doesn't work even if they were told before hand it wasn't a good idea and wouldn't work. Lower management tries to undercut the manager with employees and nothing is confidential. It's

As the saying goes. What you do, you get in return. Great job stay busy. Company perks thru out the year. Great management and coworkers.

Cons

I believe the only con is the temperature in the building. Some days it's very cold or vice versa.
