      Amazing Company

      Pros

      The best parts about working for AHF are the feeling of making an impact on the community through all the company does to help out our patients, whether that be through community events, the ability to provide service regardless of financial means of the pt or how we've continued to provide care to patients through Covid-19 without that even slowing us down. This company truly does care about the community and it shows in every aspect. It is great to be a part of something like this.

      Cons

      The only real downside I can think of is pretty specific to my position. The current pharmacy software system has a lot to be improved on and can be very frustrating to work with on some days.

      Quality care, but lack of leadership and no room for growth

      Pros

      AHF is the largest provider of for HIV/AIDS care internationally. That is what I love about working here - the patients and the opportunity to provide quality care.

      Cons

      There's lack of leadership and support. They'd rather spend thousands on a lunch ordering gimmick to improve their image than on fit testing for N95 masks. They do not ask what healthcare staff "what would make you feel more safe" during the pandemic. The majority of medical management are out of practice or aren't medically trained. There's no room for growth.
