I’m sorry you experience office politics at AIR MILES. We often hear that AIR MILES is made up friendly people so I’m disappointed that this isn’t your experience. Thanks for the feedback. Pros

- an amazing benefits package - salary was not that bad - unexpected perks - great onboarding

Cons

- boring work: no challenges at all (good for people that only want to have a job) - people at my team was not that nice - I asked if I could work remotely outside Canada and they said yes, two days before my trip they pushed that back and I had to spend lots of money worn cancelling, etc.

I’m happy to hear that you felt well compensated with us, enjoyed the perks and benefits available to you, and had a positive onboarding experience. I am however sorry to hear you were not challenged by the work given to you. We encourage all Associates to have open and honest conversations with their Leaders about their development in order to ensure everyone feels they have meaningful work to do and a place to grow their career. Our 1-in-90 conversations that take place every 90 days between an Associate and their Leader are meant to address these topics specifically. I hope you had an opportunity to have these conversations with your leader, and explore the various positions we had available before leaving. I am sorry you felt censored by your questions at the company meeting – we try to answer all the questions in the chat, either live at our AIR MILES Business Meetings or as follow-ups on CONNECT. I hope you got the answers you needed. Finally, AIR MILES is now a remote-first work environment, offering as much flexibility to our Associates as possible by allowing them to work anywhere in Canada. We also understand the desire for Associates to visit family and friends outside of Canada and as such, Associates can now work outside of Canada for up to 2 workweeks (10 business days) per year. With respect to your comment on pay, we work annually with available market data to ensure that our salary ranges remain competitive and adjust these ranges as required. Additionally, we are proud to offer many other perks, subsidies, and recognition tools to reward our Associates for their hard work and dedication to AIR MILES. We continue to focus on enhancing our technological capabilities with the help of our new Chief Technology Office, Rick Neuman – and empower our Associates to be tech-first in their thinking!
