The environment at AJ Tutoring has been very positive since day 1 for me. I appreciated how hands-on leadership was with tutors. I never felt like I didn't have support or advice on how I should accommodate different students. The weekly touchbases were a great way for me to get all my questions answered and discuss different approaches I can take to work with my students. I also appreciated the all staff meetings where it truly felt like the entire AJ family would get together. You can really see how you, as a tutor, impact things on a greater scale. We would also have group meetings in our specific teams where you can hear from different tutors on what worked for them and what didn't work for them. All in all, the constructive, positive learning environment is not only for the students but also for the tutors to be the best tutor they can be and the best leader for their students. I always felt comfortable asking people questions who weren't in my team and others were very open to helping and being there for you. Each tutor and leadership member strives to create an office that works as a team to ensure that each student is taken care of and the best experience is being created for that student.
