Pros

Great team effort with everyone pulling together to promote and advance aviation, help pilots, and contribute to the community. A lot of effort is made to make this an employee friendly environment and to give recognition to those who achieve goals.

Cons

Nothing jumps out at me

Pros

The employees are excited about what they do and what they represent. AOPA has transitioned into forward thinking organization that is trying to change the way other think about General Aviation. The opportunities to expand your role in the organization and benefits are really hard to beat.

Cons

As with every organization there are a few cons, such as transparency & communication, however even those are areas that have improved quite a bit over the years.
