Pros

Good people, Excellent coworkers, decent benefits

Cons

Management is incredibly demanding, you are expected to be on call 24/7. You are not valued. Your voice is not heard unless you are buddy buddies with upper management. Management is perceived as racist by many of my coworkers. Often get looked down on by management as if I am insignificant. Not a good work environment. I'm surprised there aren't lawsuits regarding this. RUN FROM THIS PLACE, you will hate it

Pros

-Good amount of holidays were offered - all major national holidays plus some flex days and birthday -Good insurance -People seemed friendly

Cons

-Outdated in some areas - would’ve been nice to have more pto (especially during the first year - 1 day of pto is offered in year 1). 3 sick days was simply not enough to fit in all of the doctors appointments and illnesses you have in a year. -Job felt very fast moving and hard to navigate as an entry level employee - wish I was offered more in-depth training while starting out. -Overtime was very common - it was compensated for hourly employees which was great, but I felt pressured to work overtime every week when I would’ve preferred to stay at 40 hours for work/life balance. It almost felt like a few hours of overtime was required every week. -More work from home would’ve been nice - the office environment was not great, was often loud and most of the windows in the building were used for private offices, so cubicle area was pretty depressing. There were problems with bugs, mice, temperature, etc. It seemed like the company was on track to going back to 5 days in office, even though the quality of work and life was better when employees had work from home days.

Richardson continues to fail

Pros

Good product. Decent benefits. That is about it.

Cons

Take a look at the reviews based in Richardson TX, headquarters of the hospitality division, and you will see virtually all negative reviews. Very poorly run division of ASSA. Pay is very low on project management side and all PM's are overloaded with work. Many will juggle 50, 70, and even 100 projects at the same time. Nobody can handle that workload. Pay plan for sales is absurd from what I've heard. The President needs to get rid of his cancerous VP's and start repairing things with his employees if he wants to keep them. Most employees I speak with are actively looking for a new job.
