Pros

It is a job. close to home

Cons

Push for NUMBERS only, not customer experiance or satisfaction. I am totally pushed to make shorter and shorter calls. The shirts are terrible for newer people. They way they treat contractors is outragiuos. No vacation time granted etc

Pros

AT&T is a very diverse company with many different perspectives. It is a great place to learn and gain valuable experience. There is a sense of security with a large company. There is a huge variation in possible work, and this provides a great opportunity to learn many different skills.

Cons

AT&T does not pay competitively. Middle managers can be frustratingly old-fashioned. It is also easy to get lost in such a large corporation. AT&T doesn't seem to care about their employee work life experience. There are no refrigerators or ice machines in the building, there aren't many perks. The communication with Senior Management is one way.

Pros

flexible hours, no one looking over your shoulder if your management employee.

Cons

favoritism, unfair labor practices. Unethical behaviors. Upper management are idiots and tend to blame occupational employesss for all the problems within the workplace. Occupational employees are constantly monitored. Deadlines on completing work are unreasonable which causes stress and constant FLMA or employess calling in sick to avoid confrontation/arguments with management. Certain employess are recognized for outstanding work, other employess who are also exceptional on work performance are ignored
