      What happened to AVEVA

      Pros

      The company has many very smart and committed people across teams. It enjoys strong, loyal customer relationships, and there are true pockets of excellence in both technology and domain expertise.

      Cons

      Executive management has become increasingly disconnected from both customers and the company’s core technologies. Strategic decisions often follow market hype and are influenced by individual executives lacking the basics of technical understanding or appreciation for the complexity of the portfolio. In a troubling trend, some of the most capable and knowledgeable employees have been let go, while the organization attempts to cut costs at the expense of long-term capability and morale.

      Flexible work schedule Ability to pursue future education

      Cons

      Management is lost with the direction they want to send the company Arguments are frequent between different BUs so it is difficult to get any positive work accomplished

      Pros

      They want to pick good technologies but don't have the right marketing plans in place.

      Cons

      No organized goto marketing plan. Seems everyone can buy vendor lists and products without a proper plan. Systems don't provide full insight. Sfdc is a mess. Cant see customer data in the same area as leads. Rarely heard from upper management. Pay increases were a joke.
