Pros

Nice office space, free fruit and LaCroix

Cons

No exchange of ideas, departments act more like "cliches", employees are asked to just follow directions, not to provide ideas or think outside the box. No real opportunity to grow within company, management picks favorites and those are the only people they listen to. Employees are not allowed to contribute and customers are also not appreciated or listened too either. For a tech company, ABILITY is very closed minded and harsh. Not a collaborative environment, they promise a lot and deliver very little.

We appreciate your thoughtful comments. We use input like this to improve as we grow. ABILITY is a fast growing company and that brings opportunity, but it also increases the need for collaboration and transparency, as well as listening. In 2016 we rolled out IdeaLab, our internal idea generation and listening tool, to help drive a culture of listening and to actively engage employees in contributing their ideas to make ABILITY better. We also continue to work to find ways to enhance collaboration across different functional areas, as well as increase transparency. We would love to hear your ideas. Take advantage of IdeaLab or reach out directly to your manager. Working together we can make ABILITY stronger.

Pros

Nice people, but the good ones don't stay or are let go.

Cons

There is more than one way to get things done. No recognition for a job well done. You are not part of the team, someone doesn't like you, your days are numbered. I saw some really great employees and talent terminated. If your not in sales, you don't matter. Be careful, they always look for a fall guy, instead of looking at the problem. Constant turnover, lack of direction.

Thank you for your comments. We take input seriously, and we use it to continue to improve as we grow. We are a performance-driven organization and recognition is an important piece of that. One the ways we’ve been doing that is through improved peer recognition via our Values and Service Excellence awards. We have also begun to build out management training so that leaders in the organization are supportive and recognize employees in a more informal way. We continue to build on these and other ways to create a great place to do great work. Thank you for sharing your input.
