      I have been in the corporate world for 20 years. I have not worked for such a terrible company. Someone keeps erroneously informing the CEO that employees are engaged (happy). They did an internal survey and came up with some ridiculous number about employee engagement. But since they asked for department and location most people were afraid to give their REAL opinion. Most said that they were able to pull the IP address and/or could guess who they were by the location or department so were afraid for their jobs if they answered honestly. Plus, the questions weren't actual engagement questions. Asking me if I understand what my job is doesn't make me engaged.
