Pros

Excellent colleagues that are a joy to work with.

Cons

Ableton used to be an exciting and innovative place to work. Then, during the pandemic, things changed. Leadership, sadly, is woefully unequipped for a business environment that relies on innovation. Additionally - and this should be a warning for anyone considering working here - there is a culture of secrecy and suppression around bullying. I have personally witnessed outrageous and abusive behaviour that was reported and escalated through the proper channels, only for the bully to be protected and sheltered while their victim is silenced, despite all of their blah blah about diversity. Every diversity effort I witnessed seemed purely theatrical and only for the optics and the marketing potential. It's embarrassing. Finally, the pay is very low, and there are virtually no advancement opportunities.

Pros

- Good work life balance - Cool brand - Flexible

Cons

- Benefits have been cut to almost non existent (Urban Sports club, meditation app, no raises, coffee machines always broken, barely any social events). - Nobody comes in to the office - Socials are BYOB (what?) - Processes extremely slow - Ideas are extremely outdated
