Pros

Your coworkers are your only support system, and the students are truly the best.

Cons

The pay, the administration, the lack of control, the unprofessionalism, the location (a vulnerable population right next to the "Unsafeway"?? Really??), and more.

Thank you for your response. We have developed a pay scale across positions that has been used since summer of 2020 that is solely based on education and years of experience. We are happy to hear that your co-workers were a good support system as our staff is truly a strength of our organization.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. We have undergone a recent restructure to our clinic as well as school and our staff are dedicated to creating differentiated learning for each and every one of our students. We have also created a pay scale for all positions to create equitable pay among staff and stay competitive in the market as a non-profit.

Pros

inclusion setting, great hours 8-4.

Cons

Lack of instructional programs for clients, ABA is not effective because data is not consistently taken- high turnover rate, no trainings, no detailed programs to follow when new staff hired. And students are trying to acquire and generalize skills in the setting. Classrooms are crowded, no sub system so if your kid is in school and BT is out, there is no one to help them and it contributes to classroom chaos.- clinic setting the session would have been cancelled...

Hello and thank you for your feedback. We have taken great strides this year (2020-2021) in recruitment and retention and are happy to report that our attrition rate has been decreasing steadily since August of 2020. We have a clinical support specialist who focuses on staff training and professional development. We also have been working to improve our hiring and development of roving BT's.
