Pros

With respect to the stuff that comes out the back end of a bull (every company has some of it), Access doesn’t overload day-to-day. Most employees and managers work hard and take pride in a job well done.

Cons

You won’t make much money as an hourly employee, and few opportunities exist for non-managerial track promotion; since Access practices the Rumsfeld Doctrine with staffing, you’ll be up to your eyeballs busy if you become a manager.

Enjoy Working for Access

Pros

Access is a great company to work for. Fair pay and good benefits. The CEO, President and COO really care about the employees and the Company. The Company also is very focused on growth, and growth provides opportunity. The Company is very acquisitive, acquiring between 10 and 20 companies a year. While that leads to the need for a lot of hard work, it also provides an opportunity for A players within the organization to have a lot of security, a lot of work to do/responsibility, and a lot of upward mobility. In most areas withing the organization, the people are great and the culture is a fast paced and exciting. The industry is in a pivot, seeing clients focus more and more on privacy and compliance, so it is a unique opportunity to use an entrepreneurial spirit and add value to the organization. I'd recommend anyone who enjoys a fast paced and challenging environment to work for Access!

Cons

Access moves really fast, which can be tiring if you aren't ready for it. There are small pockets in the organization where the culture is too focused on the financial performance with little qualitative review and that can make it hard to shine as an employee if financial performance is out of your control in a specific position. If you do not work at the corporate office in MA, you can occasionally feel like the leaders there want to control everything and make most decisions and don't trust the people working in market, which can feel challenging.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review here on Glassdoor. I appreciate your feedback. I am glad that you enjoy the freedom and flexibility of your schedule as regional account manager, and the drive for an entrepreneurial spirit here at Access. I am also glad that you appreciate the support from leadership and your peers as we work with intentionality to provide a supportive and productive environment at all times. I understand that the workload demands can be a bit much at times; I definitely have high expectations of myself and of the team. I am sorry if they feel like too much at times, and would be opening to learning more if your'e willing to have a conversation about it. I can be reached at ralston@accesscorp.com. Thanks again for your review and for taking the time to provide this feedback, Rob
