Pros

The 401k contribution is great, fairly good benefits (but lessening over time), unlimited sick time (although not always a perk).

Cons

The amount of burn out and over work has become a major issue; work-life balance used to be a perk and this has completely reversed. Expectations and pressure is high to get things done quickly, even if they are done sloppily. This in turn is causing projects to take much longer over the long run. Vacation time is very low for the industry and accumulates slowly. Executive leadership is making changes to the detriment of its employees, agents, and the company. They will say one thing and do the complete opposite. Morale is so low. It's almost as if they want things to get so bad people will leave without having to do lay offs. They continue reducing gifts and benefits, hoping people won't notice.

Pros

401k, health benefits, remote work

Cons

So many changes happening all at once, and no one can explain why they need to happen all at once. Acuity has been a great company for a long time, and small improvements over time would’ve made everyone happier, more efficient, and more effective. Instead, they’ve thrown everyone’s jobs and processes up in the air like a game of Boggle and we’re all scrambling to make sense of how the letters are landing. No one knows what their role will look like in 6 months, and as a result, morale and trust in leadership is low. Direct management is often just as in the dark as the employees they’re supposed to be leading. Every week new expectations are distributed, new ways are created to monitor our performance, and new processes are added to our workflow. Instead of acknowledging how burnt out their employees are and doubling down on investing in their wellbeing, however, they send out frivolous, carefree vlogs from the officers that show just how out of touch they are with everyone who works for them.
