Adept grossly underpays its employees by $10-20k. Meanwhile two of their three VPs are living in the tropics. They say they care about staff but are sneaky and have ulterior motives. They only care if someone is violating their non-compete agreement so they can sue you. They force you to sign the non-compete as part of your offer letter. They have sued former employees and lost because they can't prevent someone from working in the industry. Adept does not pay for PTO. You have to work 40 hours/week on a 37.5 hour/week contract and then bank those 2.5 hours. I never got annual reviews. They lied to me, tried to cheat me out of a bonus, miscalculated my billable hours, reneged on a promotion they offered me, tried to keep pertinent information from me, illegally deducted my wages, and kept 75% of my bill rate increase (that I earned for my good work). My mistake was not getting everything in writing. When I gave my two weeks notice, I didn't get a counter offer but they were insistent on knowing where I was going. It's none of their business. They wanted to know in case I was violating my non-compete and could sue me. Be smart and stay away.
