Pros

I cannot think of any pros . The time I spent working there was beyond normal stress on the job. RN's, like myself, are used to being very busy and multitasking. It was the bullying and the insulting treatment received that ruined my employment experience. They took advantage of my caring

Cons

New management says they are all about providing compassionate, professional and spiritual healthcare to patients but it is a fake facade. Behind the scenes, it's all about getting patients through as fast as possible. Nursing staff is treated miserably by a few abusive and dishonest so called managers. It is disgusting how RN"s and staff are bullied and mistreated by a few power hungry, lazy so called managers. I hated working there. The only saving grace were the patients and trying to provide the best care possible even when I had had no lunch break or requests for relief were ignored. No praise ever given for a job well done or for staying extra hours when staff was short due to poor planning. So called managers always had their breaks and left on time or took off for personal reasons. Whereas, if RN's or staff had urgent personal requests, we were eyed like we were lying. It was ridiculous to have grown adult professionals treated with such disrespect. Several of the more experienced RN"s and staff were accused falsely of not doing their jobs and either left due to the bullying and pressure or were fired. One day they were there, the next day gone. The fact that a few dishonest managers have so much power and can get away with such illegal, inappropriate treatment of RN's and staff is shocking. From the outside the hospital and it's ads are very convincing that it is a safe, desirable place to go but the constant back biting and fears of losing jobs behind the scenes is dangerous because it is distracting to staff trying to actually do their jobs. I am glad I no longer work there. I should have left several years ago.

Pros

Pay better than other hospitals in area, lots of locations and openings

Cons

Turnover high for nursing, just a number and easily replaced, fake for the public with commercials and 'health care heros' but only for public, do not treat employees that way. Money is driving force and they will work you very thin to save money but end up paying more for bad patient outcomes.
