Pros

-They hire newly grads, and train them - They hire people who are motivated, regardless of having prior recruiting experience because they want people who are trainable and want to hustle -70K Salary, and commission after a threshold -A good company to gain recruiting experience

Cons

-Lots of turn over due to upper management mico managing on everything and always expecting workers to stay overtime. -People will question you on how many calls, and activities you have had that day/week regardless of you getting starts -Because there is so much stress to hit numbers, many times people will work 12 hour shifts.

Pros

Intensive training - 13 weeks Opportunity to learn and grow if going into sales If you're placed with a good Account Manager who cares about you personally and professionally, you will do well

Cons

Limited career pathways to take unless you choose to go into sales No work/life balance - required to work at least 48 hours a week but even when you work that much, it is still looked down upon and they want you to work 55+ hours per week to be successful Unrealistic performance expectations and high level of demand and pressure Unrealistic commission threshold (most recruiters in my office weren't making commission even after a year of being there) People who leave are badmouthed about why they left the company High turnover Cult like culture Promotes "honest and open culture" but results in high level of gossip about others and office politics

Pros

- Awesome place to learn how to be a great recruiter - Focus on candidates and quality that you don't always find at other recruiting firms - Great training for both recruiters and account managers - Clear career path I feel that the training, sense of urgency, and candidate/client focus I learned at Aerotek helped me to be successful in my next recruiting role (at Google).

Cons

- They haven't kept up with the perks of surrounding companies. Why work a strict 7:30am-5:30pm when you can work at a tech company as a recruiter and pretty much make your own hours. - No food/transportation or other perks. Health benefits weren't great. - All senior leadership also started there as a college new grad so there's very little diversity of ideas or experience. This was a big reason I decided to leave. - At the time the company was definitely a boy's club with very few women in leadership (many times because there wasn't any flexibility in hours that women often need to consider a career in leadership)
