Pros
Job security, WAH, good work environment
Cons
Good benefits but at a very high cost to employee. Does upper management pay for their retiree medical? I doubt it. I've worked at Aetna for years, often fending off recruiters not only because of loyalty but in anticipation of my retirement benefits, only to find that now I can theorhetically retire, those benefits have been taken away. I have a medical condition which makes individual insurance unrealistic. The thanks I get from Aetna is to take away my medical if I retire. So I have to stay. So much for valuing and rewarding employees - my scorecard always shows that I exceed expectations. Too bad Aetna didn't live up to theirs.
