Pros

people try really hard with no resources and no support.

Cons

Just about everything that relates to management. They are in it for themselves. They have no HEART. They give additional time off to their high paid executives and require mandatory OT for the hourly phone reps. They pay HUGE bonuses to leadership and no merit increase for the hourly folks. It's a sweatshop you hear about but don't think it still exists in the US!

Pros

Lots of overtime if you want it. Unfortunately, the overtime is not optional. It was optional in my country after a labour rights investigation, but it won't be anywhere else and they closed our site. Benefits ok Good if you need a job. High turnover rate so they're always hiring

Cons

No work-life balance, unfair metrics, low wages, limited options for promotions, forced overtime, extremely high work load (not a single second of downtime), difficulty in booking vacation, poor work life balance, insensitive to life outside work (i.e., death in family), inconsistency in management, training, and employee success, high school level gossiping and drama, high turnover rate, they outright lie to you about certain topics With how the metrics work part of keeping your job will depend on luck They will want your calls to be inhumanely fast but also want you to take time with each customer. Your job is at risk if not fast enough. It's at risk if you don't take time. It's an unfair game they ask employees to play, and all for the luxury of barely above minimum wage reimbursement If you can do this job you're already over qualified for the renumeration, go to college

Pros

-Pay is marginally better than minimum wage -Offers the ability to make decent bonus through OT incentives -Generally good people to work with -Most management tries to make the workplace manageable

Cons

-Care more about the bottom-line than the customer -Constantly barraged about bringing down call handle times (down to the second), not for helping customers but to get to the next call. -Treat service providers like second class citizens that are trying to squeeze as much money as they can out of the company (partially true, but we short change always creating this behaviour) -High stress, fast-paced environment that will break down even the most resilient people -Shut our Canadian location down because we cost too much
