Pros

Agero, unlike other contact centers care about their employees. They understand that better employee moral will get a more productive and efficient work environment. Another good thing about Agero is if you work hard, you will be noticed and can promote very quickly if that's what you want. Many pros such as overtime with great incentive, free food days, and discounts at local stores are also an added benefit.

Cons

Agero for some could be quite stressful taking inbound calls as a floor agent. If you take what people can say to you personally over the phone, it might not be the right job for you. When you get a call from a customer, you are getting someone who is in a stressful situation and you have to be able to perform under pressure and take charge to make the customer feel like they are being taken care of by someone who is confident and capable of doing so.

Pros

There is always advancement for your career and multiple opportunities to increase experience through multiple positions.

Cons

The management prefers to talk about the front line as though they are children who do not understand what is going on. While they claim to respect everyone who works for their company, they diction behind closed doors is belittling and often mean to those who are on the front lines of the company. I find that bad behavior is rewarded, while those who work hard and are honest rarely are commended for their work. Rather they are bullied (a seemingly acceptable practice in this work environment) until they resemble those who exhibit bad behavior and management always takes the side of the bully as they are their friends.

Pros

Agero is involved in the community and dedicated to quality. They do a lot of employee appreciation promotions, providing food on holidays and random work days. The people are great and it's a friendly environment. There's a lot of team work and team spirit.

Cons

It is a high-stress environment. Calls can run long due to angry customers, difficulty locating customers, emergency situations, and many other factors. Call volume is usually quite high, especially on weekends.
