      Pros

      There are absolutely no positives to working here. The company is a mess with poor leadership and horrible strategy. They will never recoup the investment on this lemon of a company. RUN

      Cons

      This company is an absolute nightmare to work for. Poor/Toxic leadership and horrible financial acumen as well as industry knowledge. They are owned by a PE company that enlists an army of "consultants" who know nothing about the industry or products. It is total chaos.

      leadership is supportive, well established company -- small but with global scale and reach --- very mission focused -- and customer focused.

      Cons

      Lots of work -- because of all the opportunities to chase after, team work and willingness of people to help and jump in is incredible.

      Pros

      I knew starting with AgroFresh would be a risk, since it was recent divestiture from Dow. It was the best decision I have ever made. The people at AgroFresh are wonderful, helpful, caring and fun to work with. There have been many opportunities to get involved with projects I normally would not have had the chance to. I have learned so much in my few short years here. It is a lot of work but the work has been rewarding. AgroFresh promotes employees and gives them the opportunity to grow. Work life balance is great, I can change my hours as needed, work from home on occasion, and summer hours:) It is disheartening to see some of the negative reviews, because that has not been my experience at all. There have been a few bad hires, but that comes with any business. I am thrilled I took the chance to work here, if you get the opportunity to join us, do it!

      Cons

      AgroFresh at times can be rather ambiguous, and that does not always jive with people. However, breaking away from a large organization and having to create your own mark comes with a lot of change. If you are willing do the work, AgroFresh is very rewarding.
