Pros

People were pretty good to work with. Gained valuable experience in technical skills.

Cons

High turnover, incredibly high pay and bonus structure for executives and senior management relative to lower level employees, job description and responsibilities constantly in flux and not reflected in yearly review or pay, unfair expectations relative to consultant’s workload, horrible work life balance, occasional stealing of credit for ideas and cost saving initiatives from lower level employees to mid level employees, inconsistent communication of expectations, raises, bonuses. No actual office culture. Firm that owns Air Methods seems more concerned with delivering financials than providing a needed service.

Pros

The mission of the company is good

Cons

Management is awful. They don't care about you, they will make you work long hours for no reason. The amount of overtime you do is insane for no compensation. There is no support in anything. They will make you feel awful for taking sick days. Most of the time you can't even take a sick day because no one is cross trained and if you do, your work just get pilled up for when you come back. They micromanage everything but still refuse to support you when you need help. The culture is cold and sad. Walking into the office you just felt anxious and didn't want to be there. The salary is not good enough for the amount of overtime you work. Management will only look out for themselves. They only care about how its reflected on them. The interview process made the company seem so much better than they were. Within my first three months there I was given an insane amount of workload with no training or support and was expected to know and get everything done fast
