      Work/life balance is good for my department Benefits and comp are competitive Leadership communicates frequently through weekly All Hands

      Cons

      Leadership doesn't seem to have confident POVs, leading to a moving target roadmap. The AI goldrush has made it worse. I'm sure all companies are experiencing this same pivot, but our strategy for AI has been done in a way that seems more trend chasing / catching up over true innovation for the product. This is the one of the most disorganized place I've worked at. Airtable mistakes its product as a replacement for operational roles like program managers or operations. The result: poor usage of Airtable within Airtable. Our org is drowning from a pyramid of approvals and reviews from managers and leaders. Things cannot get shipped without the review from several leaders. This has eroded the team's trust and has put many people into a mode of complacency over innovation.

      Flexible Schedule, Great perks, Unlimited PTO, Great Snacks, and free technology

      Cons

      No career path, no personal development, lack of clear vision for the department, and unexpected layoffs after hiring new people. Extreme lack of diversity both in race and gender. Very much a white, male, centered company.

      Pros

      Airtable is filled with a ton of talented people that come from awesome companies and experiences. They bring a lot to the table that others can learn from. The nature of the product leads to having a variety of different conversations everyday.

      Cons

      There isn’t a multi-decade old playbook to sell into this new category.
