      Pros

      Airtable as a product is a cool idea; once you've seen a quick demonstration - it's easy to understand the hype.

      Cons

      I've heard Airtable described as "hyper-growthy," and there's something to that, although I've worked with other hyper growth companies that seem to have their head on straight. Most employees don't know how to use the product, HR functions are a mess (for instance - during their last layoff, they let go of their entire diversity team, their learning and development team, and other critical roles), the founders are completely detached from employees, and don't get me started on their return-to-work policies.

      Great product, very easy to sell, PLG Customer success individual contributors are excellent and friendly

      Cons

      No accountability for cross functional partners (Account Executives) Constantly changing processes with inadequate training Critical feedback on processes not taken well by management No 401k company contributions and you have to reimburse everything to get wellness benefit, wfh benefit, parking, learning and development Difficult to get pay raise even when exceeding targets A fraction of my accounts change every quarter so can't establish customer relationships

      Cool product Wide market opportunity Great IC talent (at least, it used to) Solid SF office

      Cons

      Terrible executive leadership plagues this place. They have no idea what they’re doing and it’s causing both product and GTM challenges. Massive layoffs have created a poor culture in the office (and remotely from what I’ve heard) and the company seems to continue to struggle no matter what bright idea pops into the execs heads.
