      Pros

      Most people I directly worked with at Airtable were incredibly smart and down to earth. Some of the best folks in tech.

      Cons

      Product vision is unclear, and a lot of that seems to stem from lack of alignment among executive level leaders. The quick turnover among executive level leadership is also concerning. The lack of clear product vision means we can work on one product feature, only to have it be completely deprioritized the next quarter - creates a lot of wasted effort and whiplash.

      Great WLB, good comp, unlimited PTO, hybrid work (effectively remote as we have to go once a quarter to office)

      Cons

      A lot of red tape in development, gut instinct of select few triumphs over any data that you may have. If you want to build anything, there will always be someone who says no. There is no one to take technical leadership role so for building everything, we need to have consensus among everyone to do it. If you have heard alternate truths on the news , you will hear about alternate design principles here (my manager actually used the word "alternate principle" when I tried to point out the design flaws by pointing out basic CS principles. Design disagreements never get resolved as there is no technical leadership.

      There are no pros working for this SaaS company.

      Cons

      Senior level management all the way up to C-suite employees are completely disconnected from IC employees. HR will blatantly ignore your emails, pay checks are constantly incorrect, and other people’s incorrect assumptions will be your fault. There is no career development, they’ll hire folks that have no idea how to use any of the apps they utilize (Slack, Gmail, Zoom etc.) and it’ll be your job to train them up.
